TAIT's Global Procurement & Supply Chain organization is focused on enabling world-class
delivery through smarter processes, better data, and modern technology. As the Business
Technology Partner, you will identify opportunities to improve how the business works and
rapidly turn ideas into practical solutions that increase efficiency, improve decision-making,
and reduce manual effort.


Working as an embedded member of the Procurement & Supply Chain organization, you will
collaborate with category leaders, operations, finance, and the Enterprise Technology team to
champion business-led innovation. You will evaluate processes, identify opportunities for
automation, leverage AI technologies, prototype solutions, and help guide successful
implementation of enhancements that create measurable business value.
This is not a traditional software development role. While technical capability is important,
success is measured by your ability to understand business challenges, creatively & responsibly
apply technology—including modern AI capabilities—and deliver practical solutions that help
the business move faster.


Enterprise Technology (GTS) owns enterprise architecture, security, governance, infrastructure,
and production standards. This role partners closely with Enterprise Technology throughout the
solution lifecycle to ensure every enhancement aligns with TAIT's technology strategy while
accelerating Procurement and Supply Chain initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the embedded technology partner for Global Procurement & Supply Chain.

• Partner with Procurement leadership to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, visibility, compliance, and operational performance.

• Champion technology-enabled innovation through AI, automation, analytics, and lightweight business applications.

• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Technology to align solutions with enterprise architecture, security, governance, and long-term strategy.

• Rapidly prototype and deliver business solutions using AI platforms, automation tools, low-code technologies, scripting, and software development where appropriate focusing on validation and proving the accuracy of AI generated output.

• Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and recommend practical business applications.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

• Prioritize initiatives with Procurement leadership and Enterprise Technology.

• Support adoption through documentation, demonstrations, training, and continuous

improvement.

• Measure business outcomes and continuously enhance delivered solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to solve business problems through technology.

• Deep understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain operations in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and delivering practical business solutions.

• Passion for applying AI to real business challenges.

• Experience with modern AI tools in a professional setting, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and Enterprise Technology.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and automation concepts.

• Experience with one or more of:

Physical Demands:
