Overview:
We are seeking an
AI Developer who will support our NYS client. The consultant will design, enhance, and maintain conversational AI, chatbot, virtual agent, and generative AI solutions built on Google Cloud Platform. This role will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to support existing applications, develop new AI-driven capabilities, and deliver clean, scalable, well-documented solutions.
Duties:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain chatbot and virtual agent solutions built on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and support conversational AI applications using Google Dialogflow and related technologies.
- Develop and implement Generative AI agents and solutions leveraging modern AI frameworks and services.
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and prompt engineering strategies.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and JavaScript.
- Support existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain high-quality, readable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation and CI/CD processes using Terraform and Git-based repositories.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- 2+ years of experience developing chatbots or conversational AI solutions using Google Dialogflow or similar technologies.
- Experience building Generative AI applications and AI agents.
- 2+ years’ experience understanding Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and implementations.
- Experience with prompt engineering and prompt optimization techniques.
- 1+ years’ experience in Python application development.
- 1+ years’ experience in JavaScript development for both frontend and backend applications.
- Experience using source control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Experience developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform.
- Ability to write and maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and customers.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Google Cloud certifications.
- Experience with Dialogflow CX, Conversational Agents, and Playbooks.
- Experience working with various Generative AI platforms and services.
- Machine Learning or AI model development experience.
- Experience with Looker reporting and LookML.
- Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Educational & Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Google Cloud certifications are preferred.
