Job description

Salary: $17-19/Hour

Administration and scoring of psychological test batteries, evaluating cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, behavioral, and emotional status in order to assist psychologists in treatment decisions.

Duties:

  • Securing and ensuring testing environments are free from extraneous variables
  • Ensuring that patients and PTAs have all the requisite tools before testing begins
  • Apprising clients of the purpose of each session before commencement
  • Administering and readministering instruments in the standardized manner.
  • Provide a written summary of the patients behavior during testing. Including interactions with the patients parents or peers that may be observed
  • Performing slight modifications to or translating items, if permitted
  • Debriefing clients upon completion of testing, if necessary
  • Scoring raw data and using appropriate norms
  • Contextualizing data to detect whether clients fall within the normal or disordered range of functioning
  • Compiling reports outlining the results obtained and the implications thereof
  • Ensuring the most updated version of each test is used, unless otherwise specified

Qualifications for Psychological Testing Services

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Strong understanding of psychological testing principles and procedures
  • Experience administering and scoring psychological tests
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
