With over 20 years' experience in the aggregates business and more than 60 years in the construction materials industry, Foley Materials Company continues to grow, and we want you to join our team.

Up to $30 per hour

Purpose: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to Company safety procedures to support business goals and objectives.

What You Will Do:

  • Construct, assemble, troubleshoot, repair, maintain all plant equipment in a safe and timely manner.
  • Perform all maintenance operations (welding, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, air systems, etc.) in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
  • Maintain equipment such as feed systems, conveying systems, scrubber systems, shaker systems, classifying systems, weight systems, electrical systems, crusher systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and other miscellaneous equipment.
  • Inspect equipment in accordance with the company prescribed inspection schedule and complete equipment inspection and reports.
  • Read / understand operating manuals for plant machinery.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment (meters), and hand tools.
  • Be proficient with fabrication tools (welding, oxy/acetyl torch) required.
  • Other duties as required to include heavy equipment operation for production tasks.

What You Need:

  • 2-5 years industrial maintenance experience (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fabrication, pneumatic) required
  • Knowledge of the components of sand and gravel plants preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems required
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work well independently with little direction
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with management/co-workers/vendors
  • To be a quick thinker / strategic planner / flexible / problem solver
