Blue Sphere Counseling LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our innovative team. Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work setting, providing flexibility and convenience for our therapists and their clients. Our operational hours are from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, allowing for a work-life balance tailored to your needs. You'll be supported by a dedicated scheduling and client service team, ensuring that your focus remains on delivering top-notch care.

Key Responsibilities

As an LPCC with Blue Sphere Counseling, you will take on a range of responsibilities that directly contribute to patient recovery and well-being:

  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories, guiding the development of appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Create and execute tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Utilize therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
  • Deliver interactive individual and group therapy sessions focused on processing trauma and fostering coping strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safeguards are in place for patient safety.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and coping mechanisms while connecting them to necessary resources.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation aligned with all legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in regular team consultations and professional development activities to stay informed of advances in trauma-informed care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population dealing with trauma-related disorders. These patients may include individuals with backgrounds in various ethnicities, age groups, and socioeconomic statuses, making it essential to possess a strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and practices. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid LPCC licensure in the state of New York.
  • Solid grasp of trauma-related disorders and a background in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create a trusting and non-judgmental atmosphere for clients.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.
Preferred Experience

  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.
