Familiarity with laboratory equipment, data analysis software, and geographic information systems (GIS) is often required. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication are essential soft skills for designing experiments and collaborating with research teams. These skills and qualifications are crucial for advancing plant research, improving crop yields, and addressing environmental challenges.
