• Coordinate subcontractors, installers and internal teams so every trade knows what's next.

• Walk the job, check the work, and solve problems before they become delays.

Customer Service & Communication

• Be the main point of contact for customers, contractors and vendors throughout the project.

• Represent Austco professionally at site meetings and keep customers updated regularly.

• Handle tough conversations calmly, protecting the relationship and the project.

• Work daily with Technical Service, Sales and CAD teams to keep everyone aligned.

Documentation & Compliance

• Track RFIs, change orders, drawings and close out packages.

• Keep installation checklists and as built drawings up to date.

• Follow site specific protocols, healthcare regulations and industry standards.

Budget & Invoicing

• Track project budgets and control costs.

• Manage monthly revenue forecasts and invoicing through SimPro.

• Report project status monthly for internal reporting.

Technical Know How

• Apply working knowledge of low voltage systems, structured cabling and basic networking (IP addressing, subnetting).

• Review system designs and installation drawings for accuracy.

• Ensure installations meet US electrical codes and healthcare communication standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years managing low voltage, electronic security, healthcare technology, communications or nurse call installation projects, ideally in a construction environment.

• Hands on experience with structured cabling, low voltage systems, system commissioning, field installation and job site coordination.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.

• Experience with SimPro or similar project management, scheduling, costing or field service software.

• Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.

• Experience with one or more of the following systems is highly desirable: nurse call, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, RTLS, intercom, audiovisual, BMS, fire alarm or other low voltage building technologies.

• Proven ability to manage a caseload of 12 to 30 concurrent projects of varying size and complexity, staying flexible and leveraging resources to work efficiently without losing focus on the customer.

Preferred

• Familiarity with nurse call systems such as Austco, Rauland or Hillrom.

• Certifications such as PMP or CCNA are a plus, not required.

• Knowledge of US building and electrical codes.

Competencies

• Clear, friendly and direct communication.

• Comfortable on a job site and confident with tools and trades.

• Financial awareness and a focus on getting projects done right.

• Comfortable adopting and using AI tools in day to day workflows to work more efficiently.
