Provide Army Continuing Education System - Education Support Services that supports Soldiers’ professional and personal growth through a continuum of education programs and services that range from academic and career guidance to enhancement of job performance and skill qualifications and includes assistance to ease the transition of Soldiers returning to civilian life. Services include counseling, credentialing/licensure, testing, instruction, technological and automation services and administration support services at Army Education Centers. Job Description * Use the Government-provided program of instruction/curriculum IAW current Army policy and program guidance. * Teach Basic Skills Education Program (BSEP) academic basic skills remediation, test preparation, prerequisite study * for service schools and college classes, and military professional development training via face-to-face and/or virtual * methods * Develop student Individualized Education Plans (IEP) * Measure student outcomes; maintain student records, and course documentation * Use education management system to announce classes, enroll students, document attendance and report absences to Support special events * Provide individual end-of-course counseling * Provide tutoring support developed locally for and by each education * Provide entry into the BSEP database for Soldier details and pre-post AFSC Examination results Qualifications The minimum education and experience required to perform these services/tasks include * Bachelor's degree in any area of study and teaching/instructor experience * Degrees must be from a college or university that is accredited by a national or regional accredited agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education * End-user instructional experience is using a web based curriculum and environment * Ability to assist students with a web-based curriculum and with technical equipment is required * Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs. * Minimum of one year relevant experience consisting of at least one (1) year experience in individualized or classroom instruction, including prescriptive remediation of skills in the areas of Math, Reading, English Grammar, Science, Writing, Language Arts, or oral and written communication * A favorable NACI investigation is required for this position.
