We are looking for a Drafter at our Louisville, KY location to support the Carrier Vibrating Equipment division. This is an onsite position that is responsible for creating accurate equipment drawings and models while following company standards and continuously improving product knowledge. Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.


Responsibilities

  • Learn the company’s drafting process.
  • Create precise models and fabrication drawings for custom equipment.
  • Provide accurate and timely equipment approval drawings; and fabrication details; and perform necessary calculations as required by product lines.
  • Strive to improve and learn Carrier product lines and standards.
Requirements:
  • 2-year technical degree or 4-year engineering degree.
  • Strong background in trigonometry, algebra, and geometry.
  • Proficient in the use of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent visualization and communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and solve problems.
