Job description

Saratoga Medical is hiring a Registered Nurse - Internal Medicine (RN) in Bethesda, MD. The compensation package includes competitive pay and flexible contract work opportunities.
Saratoga Medical is seeking an Internal Medicine Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
  • Successful completion of the NCLEX examination
  • Current unrestricted RN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Other certifications as required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of Internal Medicine or related specialty nursing experience within the preceding three (3) years
  • Ability to meet all credentialing and compliance requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Monitor patient safety and quality standards of care
  • Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
  • Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
