Mathnasium Tutor Position

Mathnasium is seeking tutors, teachers, and educators, as well as those aspiring to enter the field, to join our instruction team. Responsibilities include:

• Facilitating a safe, fun educational environment
• Teaching students in a 4:1 ratio
• Applying Mathnasium's teaching methods and curriculum to instruct students in grades K-12
• Assisting with math homework and test preparation
• Professionally and positively interacting with students to help them have a productive session

Requirements:

• Experience with children ages 5-17 is preferred but not required
• Math proficiency as determined by a skills evaluation on topics ranging up to Algebra I and Geometry
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours a week, distributed across 3 days
• Weekday availability starting at 3pm preferred but not required
