Job description

We are looking for a versatile, hardworking professional to join our team. If you are just as comfortable running modern farm machinery out in the field as you are turning wrenches in the shop, this position is for you. We need someone who can tackle a diverse set of day-to-day operations to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate and maneuver high-clearance sprayers, heavy agricultural equipment, and support vehicles.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform hands-on mechanical work, including routine preventative maintenance, diagnosing complex issues, and repairing farm machinery in the shop and field.
  • Custom Application: Accurately mix, load, and apply crop protection and nutrient products during peak busy seasons.
  • Dynamic Support: Adapt quickly to shifting daily priorities—transitioning seamlessly from field applications to shop maintenance as operational needs change.

What We’re Looking For

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Proven experience "turning wrenches" and troubleshooting diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, or agricultural machinery.
  • Operator Experience: Practical, hands-on experience operating heavy agricultural equipment.
  • Licenses & Certifications: A Custom Applicator License and/or a Class A or B CDL are highly preferred (or a strong willingness to obtain them with our support).
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive attitude with the ability to think on your feet and tackle diverse operational challenges.
  • Stamina & Work Ethic: Willingness and ability to work extended, flexible hours (including weekends) during the demanding spring and summer seasons.
