Job SummaryWe are seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and reliable senior science tutors to join our Richmond team. You will work one-on-one with students to support their academic success in subjects such as general science, biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and other STEM-related areas. Tutors will tailor instruction to individual learning styles to help students build confidence and mastery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic support in science and/or math aligned with Virginia's curriculum standards.
- Design and deliver customized tutoring sessions in STEM subjects.
- Offer remedial or enrichment instruction based on each student's needs.
- Assign supplemental materials to enhance understanding and retention.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to report on student progress and goals.
We are looking for certified educators, STEM subject matter experts (e.g., engineers, graduate students in scientific or mathematical fields), and soon-to-be teachers who meet the following criteria:
