Job description

VACANCYHIGH SCHOOL COLOR GUARD COACH


Centerville-Abington Community Schools is now accepting applications for a High School Color Guard Coach.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous color guard, dance, or related experience preferred
  • Previous coaching or instructional experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with high school students
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate with school staff regarding shared facilities and schedules
  • Must meet all Centerville-Abington Community Schools employment requirements


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and conduct practices
  • Teach color guard skills, routines, and choreography
  • Prepare and supervise students for scheduled performances and events
  • Promote teamwork, responsibility, and good sportsmanship
  • Maintain appropriate communication with students, parents, and school staff
  • Coordinate use of shared school facilities as needed
