Overview
The Supervisor is responsible for providing supervisory assistance to Behavioral Therapy Services Managers and Director regarding daily operations of facilities, team colleagues, and clients. Duties include assisting the Manager/Director in completing performance evaluations, training and supervising colleagues, monitoring staffing levels; collecting, reviewing and addressing client data; ensuring completion and approval of paperwork including (not limited to) application, release of information, opening, closing, IM+CANS, Recovery Plans, and daily service notes per agency policies and requirements of funding source; day to day oversight of grant requirements including colleague requirements, data gathering, and data submission, and other special projects. In the absence of the Managers or Director, will also provide back-up supervision. In the event of client crisis situations, will provide crisis services to Behavioral Therapy Services clients when primary clinician is unavailable.

Qualifications
Education:
• Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or other human services field.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
• LCPC, LMFT or LCSW licensure.
• Must have Valid IL Driver's License.
• Must have or obtain IM+CANS certification within 30 days of hire.
Experience:
• Two (2) years experience in the mental health field required.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Previous supervisory experience highly desirable.
• Must pass agency background check and DCFS fingerprinting.
• Must have keyboarding and computer skills as required by position.
Responsibilities
  1. Provides daily clinical supervision to Behavioral Health Therapy outpatient clinicians, case managers, and other programs as needed.
  2. Provides training for new clinicians and case managers, monitor and provides ongoing training for all clinicians and case managers.
  3. Ensures direct reports' documentation and compliance with all funding sources and agency policy and procedures.
  4. Provides timely licensed approval of all paperwork to ensure medical necessity and services justify billing.

  1. Provides assistance in completing staff performance evaluations.
  2. Monitors and addresses all facility issues to stay in compliance with MBH and CARF standards.
  3. Monitors Program staffing to ensure there is an adequate number of personnel to meet the established outcomes of person served, ensure the safety of person served, deal with unplanned absences, and meet MBH performance expectations. Approves staff time cards.
  4. Monitors, develops, and implements; client data, service statistics, and care pathways.
  5. Performs other related work as required or requested.
