Job description

Apple Farm Service is looking for a candidate to join their team as their next Equipment Sales Specialist. Are you a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual excited to match our customers with the perfect piece of equipment. The Equipment Sales Specialist will be responsible for increasing equipment sales for Apple Farm Service.

They will do this by learning the company's product lines, understanding the quoting process, selling to the customer, and following up with the customer for future business. Apple Farm Service is looking for a social candidate who enjoys traveling to customers' farms and businesses to earn their trust and business.Responsibilities:Call customers and prospects to discuss equipment needsTravel to farms and businesses to meet with prospectsQuickly learn about Apple Farm Service's productsQuickly learn about buying habits and preferences of the agricultural and construction communitiesComplete equipment appraisalsComplete equipment quotations through online pricing tools and databasesDeliver equipment to customersMonitor competitive equipment and competitive dealerships for activity and updatesAssist with preparation and execution of customer eventsAttend applicable sales training and eventsExperience: (Not required, but preferred):Experience with agricultural or construction sales (or related field)Knowledge of agricultural or construction machinery (or related field)Knowledge of agricultural or construction practicesExperience with dealership business systemsPay:Pay based on experience and work ethic.Time and a half paid for any hours worked over 40 hr/wk.Raises offered based on performance and time spent within the company ***Please note thatany estimated salaries listed on external job sites may be inaccurate and are not provided by Apple Farm Service.*** Benefits (available after 90 days):Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insuranceHSA with Free ContributionsPaid time off/Paid HolidaysMatching 401k programUniform ServicesTuition and Training Reimbursements availableCompany CultureFamily-owned business with direct communication from the ownerCustomer focused business, partnering with each customer on their behalfBelief in hard work ethic and teamwork to assist each customerUnderstanding on flexible schedules on family events and emergenciesBelief in customer satisfaction over efficiencies or gross profitAbout Apple Farm Service:Apple Farm Service is a family-owned company with the core values that every employee is treated like family.
