Job description

Warehouse, facilities & delivery Associate Work Description

Warehouse, Facilities and Yard:

  • Make sure all warehouses are swept; empty pallets are stacked out back.
    • Extra products/equipment left in the warehouse should be put away.
      • Chems/pumps/rain gear/parts
  • Empty trash cans as needed, final check on Friday.
  • Set up chemical early buy pallets and equipment pallets for technicians.
  • Rotate chemical pallets as they are depleted
  • The work bench is clean and organized.
    • Tools are put away.
    • Technician equipment under the bench is organized.
  • Yard work: Raking mowing lawns, weed whacking, seeding. Apply weed killer around both buildings
  • Make sure the back pens are clean and organized.
    • Pallets neatly stacked.
    • Spare hoses are hung up.
    • Empty buckets and covers are neat.
    • Filter cleaning area is picked up.
    • Temp filter systems are clean and ready for use.
    • Rigid and Flex Pipe is put away.

Filter cleaning – Heavy importance in the Fall Season

  • Cleaning D.E. and Cartridge filters as needed throughout the spring, summer and fall.
  • Replace DE Grids/manifolds/bleeder screen (all parts) and track quantities per customer filters need and report # to management

Delivery & Receiving Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver products to technicians on the road as needed.
  • Deliver products to customers as needed, M,W,F, peak season.
  • Help load store customer orders into their vehicles upon request.
  • Unload deliveries
    • Unload truck orders
    • Check in orders with Pick Tickets provided by drivers.
      • i.e. counting products to make sure that orders are correct
    • Discuss quantity discrepancies before putting away order.
    • Put away orders to respective bin and rack locations.
    • Check UPS/Fed Ex Deliveries for damage
  • Make sure products and equipment are in their respective locations.
    • Customer job specific equipment is neat and tagged.
