Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 4 Months
Location: Shakopee, MN 55379
100% Onsite role
2nd shift
Schedule: Sunday: 3:30 PM until finish; Monday - Thursday: 4:30 PM until finish
OT required (Yes, work until the work is done. Most days are 8 hrs., Sundays tend to flex up to 10 - 12hrs.)
Training Start Time: 10:00 AM
RF scanner experience required
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming merchandise.
  • Verify received products against receiving documentation.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged merchandise.
  • Pick customer orders accurately from warehouse shelves and place items into totes for shipment.
  • Prepare and process orders efficiently to support customer satisfaction.
  • Stock and replenish inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Rotate inventory to ensure proper product usage and stock management.
  • Process customer returns, perform data entry, and restock returned merchandise.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and research inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with inventory control procedures and physical inventory counts.
  • Perform outbound shipping activities for customer orders.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS/PkMS) to complete daily tasks in an automated environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and DEA regulations.
  • Work overtime as needed to support business operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Ability to read and understand English product descriptions, labels, and work instructions.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
