Job description

Surefox North America Inc is a veteran owned company that strives to maintain a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking experienced (full time or part time) Flex Security Agents with high integrity and professionalism with the ability to work in multiple Surefox locations. The Flex Security Agent is tasked with numerous functions in providing support to multiple programs within Surefox. You will be working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Surefox Program Manager and our Client's Manager.
The Flex Security Agent is responsible for providing observation, physical security, and overwatch to assigned clients throughout Surefox Programs. Due to the sensitive nature of this role, we require our Flex Security Agents to pass a comprehensive background check and maintain an authorization within as deemed by Surefox standards. We are looking for someone who is a team player and willing to fulfill a variety of roles as needed.

Base Hourly Rate: $28.75/hour
Work shift: Day/Swing/Grave
Work Location: San Francisco & Menlo Park
What You Will Do:
• Support staffing requirements at multiple Surefox locations during shortages due to vacations,
call-offs, no shows, suspensions, holidays, or other program needs
• Support and staff various positions, including, but not limited to the following job positions, as required:
Resilience Officer, Incident Commander, Mobile Residential Security Agent, Residential Security
Agent
• Work security at events, as required
• Expect to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and work during "high need" periods
• Expect to work and support multiple shifts, to include; Days, Swings, and Graves
• Staff multiple office locations until permanent Resilience Officer or Incident Commanders can be hired
• Be familiar and comply with standard operating procedures set by programs and/or clients you
may be assisting
• Develop relationships with clients, facilitate collaboration, and have the ability to influence
informally across different departments within the team
• Cooperate with partnering security vendors or operations centers
• Track and report on program performance assurance and compliance requirements within the
provided guidelines
• Utilize basic electronic communications devices, including cellular devices or radios
• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot, while monitoring access
• Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations onsite
• Contact the police or fire department if and when there is an emergency
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and
clients in a professional manner
• Attend project meetings upon request to assess the security implications of proposed changes
• Work independently and adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high level of
attentiveness and energy
What is Required:
• Flex Security Agents must be highly motivated Security Professionals who possess the ability
to work at multiple Surefox locations with minimal training and supervision
• Must be willing to work Days, Swings, and Grave shifts
• Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
• Must be eligible for employment within the United States
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
• Possess a valid and current driver license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
• Must live within driving distance of San Francisco Bay Area or be willing to relocate
• Must have a current BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for guard card
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• All applicants must be able to pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT), with or without
reasonable accommodation, prior to the scheduled start date
• Please be aware that passing the physical agility test is a requirement for this position.
• The SPAT is a timed sequence of multiple physical events requiring you to progress along
a predetermined path from event to event in a continuous manner until complete
What is Desired:
• Security or law enforcement related experience preferred
• Military background is a plus
• Report writing experience preferred
• CPR and First Aid Training is preferred
