As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for various critical functions, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' psychosocial needs related to their substance use disorders, family dynamics, and co-occurring mental health issues.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, addressing both immediate needs and long-term goals.
• Providing counseling and support through individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based treatments to facilitate recovery.
• Acting as a client advocate within the healthcare system to ensure access to necessary resources, services, and support networks.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Monitoring clients' well-being and adjusting care plans as necessary based on their progress and challenges faced.
• Facilitating communication with family members to provide support and education about the recovery process.

Your primary focus will be on adults seeking assistance in overcoming substance use disorders. Many clients may also struggle with concurrent mental health challenges such as depression and anxiety. A sensitive and empathetic approach will be essential in helping clients navigate their recovery journeys while addressing any underlying psychosocial factors affecting their progress.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure from the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of relevant social work experience, ideally in a substance use or mental health treatment setting.
• In-depth knowledge of addiction treatment modalities and available community resources that can support clients’ recovery efforts.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
• Exceptional communication and counseling skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.

Preferred candidates will have experience working in detox or rehabilitation settings, particularly with patients facing substance use disorders. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and a strong grasp of crisis intervention methods will also be advantageous.
