Horizon Flex Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Deltona, Florida. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, designed specifically for orthopedic therapy. It offers a nurturing environment where therapists and patients can engage in meaningful work together. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies and treatment areas, ensuring that our team has the resources necessary to provide top-quality care. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while fully immersing yourself in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with patients' specific goals and needs.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques to maximize patients’ mobility and functionality.
• Oversee and manage 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring efficient and effective treatment sessions.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adapting care plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients by promoting lifestyle changes that support health and wellness.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT for documentation and reporting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is on providing care to a diverse patient population seeking orthopedic rehabilitation services. This includes individuals recovering from surgical interventions, those managing chronic conditions, and athletes in need of performance enhancement or injury recovery. You will be instrumental in motivating patients throughout their rehabilitation process, addressing not just their physical limitations but also providing psychological support and encouraging a proactive approach to their health.

Qualifications

• A Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions or board actions.
• Possession of a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or eligibility to obtain one before employment.
• Proficient manual therapy skills and strong application of therapeutic exercises.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse healthcare environment.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in creating individualized treatment programs that improve physical function.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package.
