Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products and components meet company and customer quality standards. This role involves inspecting incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products using various tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities·         Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
·         Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and comparators.
·         Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to determine inspection criteria.
·         Document and report inspection results accurately, including identifying and communicating non-conformances.
·         Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
·         Maintain detailed and organized inspection records and quality documentation.
·         Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
·         Participate in internal and external audits and contribute to maintaining ISO and customer quality standards.
·         Support quality documentation efforts, including PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), FAI (First Article Inspection), and control plans.
·         Serve as a key member of the quality team, contributing to the development and execution of quality initiatives.
Qualifications·         High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in a related field preferred.
·         1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role.
·         Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and tools.
·         Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
·         Skilled in the use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
·         Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality systems preferred.
·         Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and quality management systems (QMS).
·         Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
·         Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements·         Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
·         May require extended periods of standing or sitting at a workstation.
·         Manual dexterity for handling small components and measuring tools.
·         Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and variable temperatures.
Work ScheduleFull-time; flexibility to work overtime as needed, or a flex shift as needed to support production and inspection demands. 
Regular Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM 
Flex Schedules: Monday through Friday either 5:00AM to 1:30PM or 6:00AM to 2:30PM          *Please Note: Flex Schedules will be based on Production as needed.
