Job description

DESCRIPTION
Schedule: Need flexible people with flexible hours! You must have weekend availability. Full-time is 5 days a week.

Job Details:
• We operate 7 days per week. Full-time is 5 days scheduled per week.
• Our routes dispatch no later than 10:00 AM and are completed once all packages are delivered.
• This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck at each stop
Delivery Driver Requirements:
• 1 year of verifiable work driving experience in the last 3 years. MILITARY DRIVING AND OTHER PARCEL DELIVERY EXPERIENCE ACCEPTABLE.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Employer reimbursement provided)
• Must be willing to undergo a background check
• Must be able to speak and read English
• Physically able to lift packages from 1-2 lbs up to 50 lbs, and move up to 150 lbs with a handcart
• May deliver 100-150 parcels per day with up to 200 during the holiday season
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
• Arrive at the FedEx terminal to pick up the vehicle and packages.
• Respectfully handling, loading and unloading packages from the truck.
• Safely delivering packages to the destination by following all required DOT and State of Florida laws as well as FedEx and company policies.
• Pickup packages at required time and destination.
• Provide high level of customer service and professionalism to all interactions with FedEx staff, customers, package recipients, businesses, peers and leadership.
• Scanning and Logging Packages with integrity, proper coding, scanning, pictures and traceability.
