Job description

Job Summary


As a Screed & Roller Operator at Huntzberry Brothers, Inc., you will work with a paving crew in a safe and effective manner to ensure timely completion of our projects. Safety is our #1 priority!

Responsibilities and Duties



  • Operate paver screed, 1 TN, 5 TN and 10 TN rollers

  • Compact asphalt material using rollers of various sizes

  • Perform daily checks on equipment to ensure proper operating condition which includes greasing and checking fluids

  • Keep exterior components (including tracks) cleaned out daily

  • Park and store equipment safely at the end of each day

  • Follow safety regulations including OSHA and local jurisdictions

  • Cooperate with others in a team environment

  • Accept direction from supervisor

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills



  • Working knowledge of and understand the screed on an 8' and 10' paver

  • High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade

  • Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, diagrams and specifications is preferred

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
