Billing Specialist & Credentialing Coordinator

BCDI is hiring a Billing Specialist & Credentialing Coordinator for our growing team! The Billing Specialist & Credentialing Coordinator assumes full responsibility for communication between our revenue cycle and credentialing teams through weekly updates and meetings with the credentialing team lead ensuring the team has all necessary documents and data to complete and maintain credentialing for all current and new providers. He or she also verifies healthcare charges via an automated billing system, updating diagnosis codes and claim details to ensure accurate billing and provides timely follow up for claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 dependent upon experience

Requirements
1) 2+ years medical billing & provider credentialing experience preferred.
2) Medication billing a plus.
3) Experience with billing Part B drugs a plus.
4) High attention to detail and ability to prioritize responsibilities to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
5) Knowledge of medical terminology utilized in medical billing, current office practices and procedures, and basic math.
6) Ability to elicit and evaluate information, sometimes of a highly personal and sensitive nature.
7) Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulations, policies, and procedures.
