Flex Nuclear Instructor Jobs (NOW HIRING)

You will serve as a PIPEFITTER SUPERVISOR in the PIPE/FLEX HOSE SHOP, HULL DIVISION, REPAIR DEPARTMENT (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.Qualifications:Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

• Experience developing training curriculum and materials necessary to conduct classroom and shop training which include lesson plans and instructor guides, handouts, wall charts, transparencies, training aids, and both practical and knowledge examination.
• Experience working in the capacity as a leader and working and leading pipefitters in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of submarine systems such as saltwater, oxygen, steam, nitrogen, oil, high pressure air, nuclear, feedwater, condensate, etc.
• Experience interpreting blueprints, instructions, and specifications and performing pipefitting measurement and layout.
• Experience providing instructions from shop supervisors, setting the working pace to ensure that schedules and completion dates are met in a proper and safe manner, and working closely with shop supervisors to prevent delays.
• Experience demonstrating proper work methods and ensuring accurate completion of documentation associated with work operations and ensuring that personnel training needs and any equipment, material, or personnel shortages or problems are met in a timely manner.
