Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Manual Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience operating CNC equipment as well as manual machining tools for the modification and fabrication of special or custom parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
  • Operate manual lathes, drill presses, and milling machines.
  • Work with manual milling machines such as Bridgeport, BT-10B, and Jet mills.
  • Modify existing components and fabricate special/custom parts according to drawings and specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform measurements using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC machinist/operator.
  • Strong experience with manual lathes and manual drilling machines.
  • Hands-on experience operating Bridgeport, BT-10B, Jet, or similar manual milling machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of machining tolerances and precision measurement tools.
