The Flex Security Officer provides security coverage at multiple client locations using a company vehicle as needed. This role supports staffing needs across various sites within the La Vergne / Nashville-area region, filling in for call-offs, open shifts, special assignments, and high-priority coverage. Flex officers must be adaptable, reliable, and able to quickly adjust to different post orders and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide security coverage at various client locations as assigned.
  • Conduct patrols (foot or vehicle) depending on site requirements.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
  • Enforce site-specific rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.
  • Provide professional interaction with clients, employees, and visitors.
  • Maintain readiness to work different sites on short notice.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid security license required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must meet Clarion Security insurance requirements to operate a company vehicle.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and post orders.
  • Previous security, patrol, or military experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to respond quickly to incidents and emergencies.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
