Join the Nalley Consulting team as a Geospatial Mapping Trainer. Position: Geospatial Mapping Trainer
Location: JBAB, Washington, DC
LCAT: Mid Required clearance and polygraph: Active TS/SCI and willingness to take polygraph. Candidates with current CI poly conducted within the past seven years highly prioritized. We have an opportunity for a geospatial mapping trainer who is committed to solving some of the toughest challenges in national security by crafting and leading effective training. As a geospatial mapping trainer on our team, you'll train analysts on the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other analytic tools to develop intelligence products that will support the warfighter. You'll teach them aggregate and analyze geospatial information and produce visualizations and modeling to support the production of intelligence reports. You'll assist in identifying key locations and personalities within high-priority networks. You'll also act as a strong collaborator and mission-focused team member who is comfortable working with analysts, mission partners, and customers.
Required qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience with using GIS, including ESRI ArcGIS, Google Earth, GeoMedia PRO, or QGIS to conduct GEOINT analysis in the DoD
* 1+ year of experience leading trainings on the above GIS tools
* 3+ years of experience with conducting open-source data collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination
* Experience with creating intelligence products supporting mission requirements
* Experience in representing an office or organization to internal and external audiences and providing customer service
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
* Experience supporting strategic- and operational-level customers
* Knowledge of GEOINT databases, including commercial databases
* TS/SCI clearance with a polygraphDesired qualifications
* Experience with using business technologies, including Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, or Microsoft Office Suite
* Knowledge of Python and other coding languages
* Knowledge of DoD and intelligence community missions
* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Bachelor's degree
