Job Description:

Oatridge Security Group is looking for a Premium Flex Officer to join its rapidly growing team. This position will expose officers to every form of security work in our portfolio. Our Operations Team will consider Premium Flex Officer first for any Supervisor position openings. Flex Supervisors in good standing are guaranteed interviews for the role and will see continual training and mentorship while working with OSG. Our goal is to identify highly motivated and skilled officers so we may staff our Operations Team with the best & brightest.

Our Premium Flex Officer need to have flexibility in their schedule; able to take shifts on short notice, with mandatory availability from Friday through Monday (weekends and overnights). During that window of mandatory availability, the Flex Officer must reply to the dispatcher's call within 2 hours of receiving it and report any periods of unavailability greater than 2 hours, and report for duty at the jobsite within 4 hours of being scheduled for a shift. This position requires individuals that possess self-discipline, a good work ethic, and punctuality. 

Premium Flex Officers must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug test. Candidates should have a clean driving record, be well groomed, articulate, dependable, and be a team player. Flex Officers do not act in the capacity of a law enforcement officer and has no arrest or apprehension powers. The work is performed outdoors and indoors.

Job Details:

Work Location: Pierce and King County

Pay Rate: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule: Friday - Monday are the primary days, but shifts will be offered 7 days/week (32 – 48 hours per week)

Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Skills:

  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language fluently
  • Ability to follow written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material
  • Excellent customer service skills in phone and face to face conversation, with excellent written and spoken command of the English language
  • Familiarity with TrackTik is preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, Field Supervisor Cadets must be able to perform each essential duty up to the standards of OSG.

  • Detect, deter, and report crime, fire, unusual events, and emergencies.
  • Follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe manner.
  • Arrive at work at the designated time in proper uniform with any necessary equipment.
  • Work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays and take shifts on short notice.
  • Work approximately 32-48 hours per week, based on business needs.
  • Provide Security for new sites until permanent Security Officers can be hired.
  • Fill in for officers who are on vacation/sick/no call-no show.
  • Carry out general and special orders for assigned post.
  • Communicate via radio, telephone and in-person, according to orders.
  • Responsible for cleanliness of uniform and assigned equipment.
  • Meet, greet, and interact professionally with clients and the general public.
  • Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
  • Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.
  • Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.
  • Comfortability turning away trespassers, loiterers, and transients (who might be under the influence of drugs or alcohol) on the client's property from a safe distance away.
