Position Title: High School Auditorium Manager
Reports to: Building Principal

Hours: 20% FTE, (Exempt)
Salary: Based on experience, hourly

Summary:
The High School Auditorium Manager has the responsibility for the technical operations of Holland Christian High School productions, including lighting, sound, set design and construction, props and costumes, as well as, coordinating necessary maintenance.
Qualifications:
  1. Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and committed to Christ-centered education.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  3. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in related field
Responsibilities:
  1. High School & Middle School Chapel
    1. Setup/Strike AVL equipment for Chapel rehearsals and services
      1. Monday/Friday High School Chapels
      2. Weekly Middle School chapels in the High School Auditorium
    2. Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise a student tech team to operate Audio, Video and Lighting equipment for concerts.
  2. Band, Orchestra, & Choir Concerts
    1. Setup/Strike AVL equipment for Elementary, Middle, and High School BOC rehearsals and concerts utilizing the HS Auditorium
    2. Schedule and supervise a student tech team to operate Audio, Video and Lighting equipment for concerts.
  3. Other Internal HCS Auditorium Events Support
    1. Provide tech support for smaller scale events held in the auditorium outside of the typical school day.
      1. Support HS teaching staff during the school day in Auditorium usage
      2. Support large group gatherings during flex time, by Counseling Dept, Student Life, etc..
      3. Co-curricular parent Meetings
      4. District Meetings and Professional Development days
      5. Student Life Events
      6. Admissions and Advancement Events
  4. Space Scheduling and Administration
    1. Advise in the Scheduling & Assist in Coordinating the use of the Auditorium
      1. Elementary, Middle School, and High School BOC concerts
      2. Internal HC events
      3. External community rentals
    2. Be on site when necessary to ensure the success of any events taking place in the HS Auditorium
  5. Equipment Maintenance
    1. Train staff and students to properly care for Auditorium AVL equipment
    2. Ensure Auditorium and equipment in these spaces are kept organized and secure
    3. Maintain, Repair, or Coordinate the repair of AVL equipment used and stored in the Auditorium in proper working order
  6. Equipment Rentals
    1. Coordinate loans and rentals of Auditorium AVL equipment to the local community
  7. District Productions
    1. Assist with the Coordinating Rentals of the auditorium/lecture hall/cafeteria
      1. Direct Contact Person for questions with equipment availability, tech possibilities, and use of sound/lights
      2. Communicating with tech students and coordinating schedules for rentals if needed
      3. Consistent policies being enforced and billed through building secretary
      4. Make a student schedule / record hours worked / etc. for evening rentals
    2. Assist in Planning and Execution of Large or District wide events
      1. Living Hope Showcase
      2. Graduation
      3. Auction
      4. Living Stones Lecture Series
      5. Convocation
      6. Other events as developed
  8. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the direct supervisor, which may include, but are not limited to, the following: before-school and after-school student supervision, Family-Flex supervision, school-day class trip attendance, class retreat participation, lunch time supervision, etc.
