Job description

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flex Attorney to support our corporate aviation client with data-focused legal tasks. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for attorneys looking to provide targeted legal services on an hourly basis. You'll work directly with business and data stakeholders to support internal initiatives involving data access, compliance, and analysis.

This role is perfect for a professional who is comfortable operating in a cross-functional environment and can communicate effectively with both legal and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct structured data interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand data sources, usage, and governance.

  • Collaborate with data owners to facilitate lawful and efficient data extraction, transfer, or access.

  • Review and interpret corporate policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements related to data handling.

  • Provide guidance on data compliance matters, including privacy, retention, and internal policy alignment.

  • Draft memos, guidance documents, or summary findings to inform internal decision-making.

  • Work with internal counsel, compliance, and IT/data teams to align legal processes with business operations.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive pay rate of $45/hour

  • Remote, flexible work arrangements

  • Opportunities to work with leading corporate clients in specialized industries like aviation

If you are a motivated legal professional looking for flexible, high-impact work, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • J.D. degree and active bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of legal eDiscovery experience, preferably with exposure to data governance, privacy, compliance, or corporate law.
  • Ability to distill technical or operational information into clear, actionable legal insights.
  • Experience working in or with regulated industries, such as aviation, is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort working independently and managing multiple tasks on a flexible schedule.
