In this career, your responsibilities include diagnosing automotive problems, determining their best solutions, and making any necessary repairs to ensure the fleet is running well. You also communicate with the fleet manager to inform them about the current state of the fleet. Qualifications for a career as a fleet mechanic include a high school diploma or GED certificate, as well certification as an auto mechanic.
