Overview
EXPLEO GROUP USA is looking for a Fleet Technician and Lab Facilitator to join a dynamic and expanding team in Troy, MI and other locations
Responsibilities:
  • Supporting engineering teams with vehicle preparation, part installation, removal, and modification.
  • Conducting part fitment checks and providing clear feedback on engineering issues.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and system-level concerns.
  • Reviewing and checking parts in CAD 3D NX.
  • Performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on development and fleet vehicles.
  • Ensuring all vehicles meet safety, compliance, and OEM standards.
  • Maintaining accurate service, repair, and configuration documentation.
  • Coordinating vehicle scheduling and readiness for testing and development activities.
  • Managing parts inventory, test components, and specialized tools.
  • Maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient workshop environment.
  • Working closely with engineering, testing, quality, and supplier partners.
  • Supporting prototype part handling, shipping/receiving, and traceability.
  • Providing technical insights during build reviews and test planning.
  • This role will be responsible for performing hands-on technical and lab support activities to ensure efficient fleet and engineering operations.

Requirements:
  • Automotive mechanical or technical certificate or degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in vehicle and parts management
  • Mechanical skills for part installation and fitment
  • Intermediate skill level in NX (CAD)
  • Strong technical writing skills for vehicle communication and documentation
  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
  • Willingness to travel to Center Line, MI and Van Buren Township, MI
  • Eager to learn and grow your automotive and engineering support knowledge
