We are seeking a Senior Systems Development Manager to lead the strategy, development, and operational excellence of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Fleet Management, and ServiceNow platforms. This role is responsible for managing a team of engineers and administrators who build, integrate, and maintain mission-critical enterprise systems that support product design, engineering workflows, and IT service management across the organization. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong people leadership and a track record of delivering scalable, reliable enterprise solutions at scale.
Key job responsibilities
PLM Platform Ownership - Lead the architecture, development, and support of PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter or equivalent), ensuring seamless integration with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain workflows
CAD Infrastructure Management - Oversee the deployment, licensing, performance, and integration of CAD tools (e.g., Mentor, NX) across the enterprise, including high-performance computing environments and visualization solutions
Team Leadership - Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of systems development engineers, platform administrators, and technical program managers
Strategic Roadmap - Define and execute a multi-year technology roadmap for PLM, CAD, Fleet Management, and ServiceNow platforms aligned with business objectives and organizational growth
Integration & Automation - Design and implement integrations between PLM, CAD, ServiceNow, and adjacent enterprise systems (e.g., SAP ERP/MES, corporate infrastructure) to streamline data flow and reduce manual processes
Operational Excellence - Establish and maintain SLAs, monitoring, incident response, and change management processes to ensure 99.9%+ availability for all managed platforms
Stakeholder Management - Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and business leadership to understand requirements, prioritize investments, and communicate platform capabilities and roadmaps
Security & Compliance - Ensure all platforms meet corporate security standards, access control policies, and regulatory compliance requirements
Budget & Vendor Management - Manage platform budgets, software licensing, and vendor relationships including contract negotiations and performance reviews
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure products that support Tier-1 mission critical services with a focus on privacy, security, availability, and efficiency
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation delivered through the software development lifecycle in an API-enabled environment, including agile development, software architecture/patterns, and modern cloud services
- Knowledge of the tools of the trade, including Python, PowerShell, Bash, and a solid understanding of the Linux and Windows operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or 10+ year's equivalent experience
- 7+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering automated systems and infra-automation tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of direct work with cloud hosting technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) experience
- 5+ years of managing managers experience
- Experience directly working with cloud hosting technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Experience in managing managers
- Experience with AWS platforms, services, and design patterns
- Experience with distributed systems at scale

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
