Job description

Job Summary

You will be parking your tractor in L’Assomption.   Your start time will be between 6:00 am and 7:00 am   Monday to Friday.   You are required to have an Android phone that supports the Fortigo app where you will be getting your daily assignments and where you will be making updates throughout the day. 

Responsibilities and Duties

Deliveries in Quebec and the Ottawa region in flatbed and enclosed trailers.

Handling of plastic coils.

Day-to-day activities include load securement, updating the Fortigo application, and managing documentation. No tarping required

Daily communication with our client's dispatcher on your progress, identifying problems and resolving them with dispatch. 

You will be called upon to drive Fortigo's 32-foot flatbed straight trucks.

Qualifications and Competencies

A clean driving record and criminal investigation are mandatory.

Class 1 license, 2 years of experience including one year on flatbed.

Be able to throw the straps on an 8-foot-high load

2017 or newer tractor registered IRP

French is mandatory, English is an asset.
