Job description

Change Lives. Build Teams. Win Together.
Assistant Store Manager
At The Good Feet Store, we don't "sell inserts."
We help people walk without pain-sometimes for the first time in years. We change lives every day, and we're looking for leaders who can do more than manage a schedule or complete a checklist. We're looking for people who can inspire teams, drive results, and create exceptional customer experiences across multiple locations.
This is not ordinary retail management.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll oversee multiple stores, leading alongside Store Managers while partnering with Multi-Store Managers, District Performance Managers, and District Managers. You'll be responsible for developing people, elevating performance, and ensuring every customer receives the kind of experience that has made us successful for more than twenty-five years.
We can teach systems. We can sharpen operational skills. What we need you to bring is leadership, accountability, sales instinct, and the ability to motivate others to achieve more than they thought possible.
What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop teams across multiple locations.
  • Drive sales performance and hold teams accountable to ambitious goals.
  • Set the standard for professionalism, customer care, and execution.
  • Train and mentor employees on our proven consultative sales process.
  • Analyze performance, identify opportunities, and turn plans into results.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and team members alike.
  • Partner with senior leadership to grow the business and strengthen company culture.

This role is for someone who loves the challenge of building winning teams, solving problems, and stepping into stores ready to make an impact.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $36,000 base salary.
  • Monthly personal performance bonuses ranging from approximately $1,000-$5,000+.
  • Additional monthly bonuses tied to the performance of the stores you oversee.
  • Expected first-year earnings of $65,000-80,000+ (Base + Commission)
  • Paid training and leadership development.
  • Health, dental, vision, PTO, and IRA.
  • Clear opportunities for advancement within a growing organization.

Who Thrives Here
  • Competitive, driven, and energized by achieving big goals.
  • Natural leaders who earn respect and elevate the people around them.
  • Strong communicators who can coach, motivate, and hold others accountable.
  • Polished professionals who take pride in how they present themselves.
  • Organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Empathetic enough to care deeply about customers, but tough enough to lead teams through challenges.

This is probably not the right fit if you prefer highly structured environments where someone else sets the pace, avoids difficult conversations, or views leadership as simply keeping the lights on.
Our Culture
We are a family-owned company driven by a simple mission: a world without pain and an unwavering commitment to improving quality of life-two feet at a time.
Our values are simple: family, accountability, and integrity.
We believe great businesses are built by great people. We work hard, support one another, celebrate wins, and invest in leaders who want to build something meaningful. Many of our team members have spent years with us because they believe in what we do-and because they're surrounded by other high performers who do, too.
Details
  • Full-time, in-person role.
  • Multi-unit leadership responsibility across at least three stores.
  • Weekend availability required.
  • Frequent collaboration with Store Managers, Multi-Store Managers, District Performance Managers, and District Managers.
  • Strong support, training, and growth opportunities.

Bottom Line
This role sits at the intersection of leadership, sales, and service.
You'll develop people, drive results, and help customers reclaim their quality of life. If you're the kind of person who loves to compete, loves to lead, and wants to build something bigger than yourself, we'd love to meet you.
