Job description

Labor job duties are continually changing depending on the requirements of each project. Laborers are expected to assist in the general operation of each job site.

The position consists of but is not limited to the following duties:
  • Flagging traffic;
  • Loading and unloading of materials;
  • Shoveling and raking dirt, gravel, and asphalt;
  • General clean up around job site;
  • Set up and maintenance of all traffic control aids;
  • General maintenance of all equipment and tools.

The above listed duties require periods of standing, walking, stooping and bending. Employee must be able to climb equipment’s ladder to reach the operators seat.
