Description
This position would be a passionate and tech-savvy Electronic Music Teaching Assistant to support classes, workshops, and studio sessions focused on music production and sound design.
Examples of Duties
- Assist instructors during electronic music and production classes
- Help students with DAWs (e.g., Ableton, Logic, Fl Studio) and hardware setup
- Provide basic troubleshooting for MIDI controllers, synths, and audio interfaces
- Support session organization, file management, and project feedback
- Maintain studio equipment and ensure a smooth technical workflow
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of at least one major DAW
- Basic understanding of synthesis, sampling, and audio effects
- Comfortable with studio hardware and signal flow
- Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about teaching
- Student at New College of Florida in good standing (academic and otherwise)
