Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Hanger and Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall to create smooth, durable surfaces for interior walls and ceilings. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and hang drywall sheets accurately according to construction plans and schematics
  • Secure drywall panels using hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and taping knives
  • Apply drywall mud (joint compound) to seams, corners, and screw holes for a seamless finish
  • Tape joints and sand surfaces to prepare for painting or texturing
  • Perform drywall repairs and restoration work, including water damage remediation and mold remediation when necessary
  • Texture walls and ceilings using various techniques such as spray or hand troweling to achieve desired finishes
