Position Overview:
The Real Estate Analyst will support the mortgage loan servicing team by overseeing the administration and servicing of a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate loans throughout the United States.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as main point of contact for borrower inquires and requests for an assigned loan portfolio.
  • Evaluate borrower requests related to leasing, reserve disbursements, property management, and post-closing obligations.
  • Prepare comprehensive memos and loan management plans that clearly identify the request, evaluate the risks, and recommend appropriate solutions to maximize the return on investment for the client.
  • Draft and deliver borrower consents.
  • Monitor borrower compliance with loan documents.
  • Engage with borrowers to collect required information, provide updates, and resolve any loan-related concerns.
  • Effectively collaborate with other internal departments (Loan Administration, Tax, Insurance, Valuation, Accounting/Reporting, Legal) to obtain accurate loan information to facilitate responses for borrowers, and internal and external clients.
  • Monitor the maturity dates of loans, coordinate payoff requests, and prepare payoff letters.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of loan matters in Precision LM.
  • Proactively monitor the loan portfolio to identify early warning signs, and potential risks.
  • Actively participate in loan surveillance and watchlist activities.
  • Strive to meet the evolving needs of clients in adherence with the servicing standard.
  • Keep abreast of relevant issues relating to markets and commercial real estate trends.
  • Provide analytical and technical support to Asset Managers as requested.
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate finance, economics, business, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Solid financial skills and knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Team player able to organize short and long term projects and tasks to accomplish departmental goals
  • Proficiency using MS Office products
