Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Finance and Capital Markets to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in treasury products, trade lifecycle processes, and regulatory compliance within financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed requirement documents for IT development teams.
  • Work closely with testing teams to validate functional and technical implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support regulatory reporting processes.
  • Provide technical input and troubleshoot issues related to batch processes, servers, or SQL queries.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Tester within financial domains.
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets and Treasury products such as Fixed Income, Money Market, and Derivative instruments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Fixed Income securities trade lifecycle, including:
  • Interest rates, ratings, and FX reference data
  • Repos, reverse repos, pledges, and intercompany borrowing
  • Accounting for HTM (Held to Maturity) and AFS (Available for Sale) instruments
  • Expertise in Eurodollar and Fed Funds transactions, and accounting for Money Market trades.
  • Hands-on experience with real-time trade settlement systems (e.g., MTS).
  • Strong experience with Derivative trades, including:
  • Plain vanilla swaps, Bermudan swaps, exotic instruments, TRS, FRA, Basis swaps, European swaps, and Swaptions
  • Understanding of curves, cashflows, and accounting principles
  • Familiarity with CFTC processes and regulatory frameworks
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting requirements and compliance standards.
  • Technical proficiency in batch/server processes and basic SQL for data analysis.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in financial systems analysis or capital market operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
