  • Drive prioritization and implement improvements in execution with a focus on automation to reduce operational risk and increase efficiency.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the quantitative investment process, including data inputs, data validation, index methodology research, issue resolution and downstream operational dependencies.
  • Ensure maintenance of workflow documentation and desktop procedures, ensuring process consistency across team members.
  • Respond to evolving business priorities and new requests while balancing risk, quality, and execution timelines.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to understand complex datasets and implement effective data quality controls. Strong understanding of financial data, including security, company, portfolio, and index-level information, as well as pricing across equities, fixed income, and derivatives. Experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, Oracle, and/or other data and automation tools; familiarity with data quality frameworks preferred. Experience identifying anomalies, assessing data quality issues, and designing processes to improve workflow reliability and control. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical, investment, operational, and senior leadership teams. Ability to design effective processes, identify improvement opportunities, and proactively surface risks, gaps, and dependencies. Contributes positively to the team environment and is committed to strengthening Fidelityโ€™s culture through accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience

Bachelorโ€™s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, finance, or a related field. 5 plus years of experience in investment operations, data operations, business operations, or a related financial services support function.
