Overview
The ETF trading group at GTS is seeking applications to join our Quantitative Trader covering the ETF Fixed Income Team. In this role the Quantitative Trader will work on existing srategies and ultimate goal of the program is to turn you into a trader capable of designing, building and managing profitable trading strategies as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidates will work on projects across the quantitative trading space within the Fixed Income ETF Space. They will work closely with senior traders on strategies. They will gain insight into how the trading desk operates and how our traders evaluate trading opportunities. They will see their work directly impact the group's activities and drive revenue.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a high achiever with a strong quantitative background, ideally with experience in Fixed Income Markets or Fixed Income ETFs. They should be very comfortable working in kdb/q or Python. You will have a lot of initiative, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and thrive in a competitive environment. You should have an interest in building and understanding of trading.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years working as Quantitative Trader with Fixed Income or Fixed Income ETF products.
  • B.S./M.S. from a leading university in a quantitative discipline such as math, physics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or economics with a GPA over 3.6/4.0.
  • Deep understanding and ability in mathematics and statistics.
  • Strong programming skills in kdb/q and/or Python.

In accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $225,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
