Job description

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group ("CC&LFG") is looking for aTrade Support Analystfor an existing vacancy in our Trade Support team. What You Will Do 

  • Responsible for supporting our Fixed Income Portfolio Managers and Trade desks in execution, processing and settlement of debt securities, money market, Derivatives and Foreign Exchange.  
  • The role covers transactions into our broad suite of pooled fund offerings and segregated client mandates. 
  • Working with Trade Desks, the role takes responsibility for efficient trading within tight deadlines. 
  • Onboarding of new accounts, products and counterparties in relevant internal systems. 
  • Responsible for ensuring timely settlement through managing custodian and broker relationships. 
  • Working with systems and technology teams to automate and improve processes with new technology. 
  • Maintaining and improving our Trade Support processes, systems and data to maximize efficiency and minimize risk. 

About You 

  • 2+ years of trade operations experience within Asset Management or related field. Preferably covering Fixed Income, Derivative or FX.  
  • Relevant education and industry certifications. 
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). 
  • Effective communicator in both verbal and written communications. 
  • Resourceful and able to resolve complex problems quickly. 
  • Passionate about learning, with a curiosity to understand the why. 

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
