Job Summary & Responsibilities

Prime Services delivers financing, clearing, and risk management solutions to hedge funds, institutional investors, and broker-dealers across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and OTC markets. Analysts and Associates serve as the primary point of contact for CFOs, COOs, accounting and operations professionals at these clients managing client relationships, delivering cross-asset solutions, and enhancing the client experience. This role provides direct exposure to front-office activity, hedge funds, and ownership of client relationships.

This role offers a strong foundation in prime brokerage and client coverage, combining technical product exposure with client interaction and cross-functional execution. Analysts and Associates develop the skills necessary to progress into senior client-facing roles within a leading global platform. As an Analyst / Associate, you will i) gain direct exposure to hedge fund clients and portfolio financing strategies, ii) training across equities, fixed income, futures, and derivatives products, iii) opportunity to build client-facing skills and progress into a coverage role, and iv) collaboration with senior stakeholders across trading, risk, and operations

Job Function:

Client Coverage & Execution

  • Support day-to-day management of hedge fund and institutional client relationships
  • Respond to client inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Prepare materials for client meetings and assist with follow-ups

Portfolio & Risk Monitoring

  • Monitor client portfolios, including leverage, margin, and financing exposures
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or discrepancies
  • Support delivery of insights to improve client transparency and decision-making

Product & Platform Exposure

  • Develop working knowledge of securities financing, derivatives, and clearing solutions
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to expand client engagement across products
  • Support onboarding and adoption of internal reporting and trading platforms

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with trading, legal, compliance, and operations teams to deliver client solutions
  • Support onboarding and ensure smooth execution of new account setups
  • Assist with time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environment

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (financial services, operations, or capital markets)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Series 7, 63, SIE (is required within 90 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to listed options, futures, or electronic trading
  • Interest in financial markets and alternative asset managers
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, results-driven mindset
