Job description

As a Senior Java Developer you will design and code the next generation of the fixed income trading platform. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of gifted engineers focused on implementing the best ideas, practices, and technology.

This opportunity is a \"Right-to-Hire\" opportunity beginning as a consulting opportunity with expected conversion to a permanent employee within the first year.

Requirements:
  • Senior IT developer / architect with over 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE enterprise application development.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in the Fixed Income Industry
  • Must have strong knowledge of fixed income securities, trading or operational processing.
  • Skilled in physical and logical data modeling techniques for optimal performance and data analysis using SQL
  • Deeply familiar with financial reporting on asset allocation, equities, bond holdings, portfolio performance, fixed income and risk analysis.
  • Must be a hands on tech leader, who can lead the team and be an expert technical resource.
  • Experienced working as the liaison between business and technology.
