Job Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Analyzes and prepares financial statements and reports such as income and inventory statements, balance sheets, and statements of financial position. Performs advanced professional, independent, and objective financial and business analyses of fixed capital and other investment proposals and other special financial studies. Supports finance function in various planning, reporting, and analytical capacities.

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation, and investments.
  • Analyses profit and loss income statements and prepares reports on findings to make recommendations to management.
  • Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, and other areas of business.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Level I

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience), with 0-2 years experience in an appropriate financial environment
  • Demonstrated strong initiative in confronting and resolving problems.
  • Effective in written and verbal communications, proven skills in interacting with others.
  • Possess analytical skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in use of computers, including spreadsheets and graphics.

Level II

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience), three to five years experience in an appropriate financial environment.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to aggressively interact and influence all segments of the organization.
  • Proficient knowledge in manufacturing systems, competent in most phases of data base management and information reporting.

Level III

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience), six to eight years experience in an appropriate financial environment.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion utilizing broad knowledge fo accounting and financial analysis techniques.
  • Experience in general supervision and project management.
  • Possess or working toward a CPA, CMA, or MBA.
