Hayes & Stolz is seeking a motivated and dependable Fabrication Fitter Helper to support our fabrication team in assembling and preparing metal components for production. The ideal candidate will assist fitters and welders by preparing materials, operating tools, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Job Duties:

  • Material Handling
  • Support Fabrication Tasks- hold or position metal parts for welding or fitting.
  • Assist with grinding, drilling or other fabrication processes.
  • Help measure and mark cutting or fitting lines.
  • Support the main fitter or welder during fitting, tacking or welding operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Entry level: on the job training provided
  • Certifications: Not required
