Southern Boone High School
Southern Boone High School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to serve as the Bass Fishing Coach/Sponsor. This position supports student participation in competitive bass fishing while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and responsible outdoor practices.
Position Summary
The Bass Fishing Coach/Sponsor is responsible for organizing, supervising, and coaching the high school bass fishing team. This role includes providing instruction on fishing techniques, safety, tournament preparation, and representing Southern Boone High School at events in a positive and professional manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and supervise bass fishing practices and competitions
  • Coach and mentor students in fishing skills, strategy, and sportsmanship
  • Ensure student safety and adherence to school district policies and procedures
  • Coordinate tournament schedules, transportation, and communication with parents and administrators
  • Maintain compliance with state activities association rules and regulations
  • Promote academic eligibility and positive behavior among team members
  • Serve as a positive role model and uphold the values of Southern Boone School District
Qualifications
